Mr. Sanchez received his Bachelors in English from Fresno State. He then went on to pursue his Masters in School Counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC). Mr. Sanchez is currently entering his 6th year as an Academic Counselor and Third school year at Caruthers High School. Mr. Sanchez serves as Caruthers High School Military Representative along with his day to day counseling duties.
Mrs. Hardcastle has been a counselor with Caruthers Unified for nineteen years and is currently working with the class of 2028. She attended Fresno State and holds a Bachelors of Science in Speech Pathology, a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and a PPS credential. Mrs. Hardcastle oversees the Advanced Placement program, SAT testing, master schedule, and daily counseling support for students, parents, and staff.
Ms. Sanchez has been an academic counselor since 2010. She joined the Blue Raider family in 2023. She attended Fresno State and received both her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Child & Family Studies and Master’s of Science degree in Counseling & Student Services with a Pupil Personnel Service Credential. Ms. Sanchez’s duties include: ROP, Dual Enrollment, Migrant and ELAC.
Mrs. Arias is currently going on three years in the counseling field. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Child Development from Fresno State and a Master’s degree in Counseling, along with a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential from Fresno Pacific University. She oversees all foster/homeless students. Mrs. Arias is currently in charge of the Class of 2026 along with the MARC High Continuation students.
